Xiaomi has officially revealed the design and key hardware specifications for its upcoming Redmi K100 Pro ahead of the smartphone’s official China launch on August 11. In a series of official teasers, the company confirmed that the flagship handset will be powered by Qualcomm’s newly announced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V processor (model number SM8850-1-AB), paired with a dedicated secondary graphics chip and an advanced 3D circulating cold-pump cooling system. According to official benchmarks released by Xiaomi, the performance-focused configuration scored over 4.09 million points on AnTuTu V11. The Redmi K100 Pro sports a 6.59-inch flat AMOLED display boasting an ultra-smooth 185Hz refresh rate, alongside a Bose-tuned stereo audio system and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Visually, the device features a redesigned rectangular triple-camera housing on the back and debuts an interactive “Firefly Chasing Light” green colorway—which utilizes a custom glow-in-the-dark material that allows users to trace temporary glowing patterns on the rear panel using a light source—alongside a classic White finish. Scheduled to go on sale in China starting at approximately CNY 4,000 (~$590), the Redmi K100 Pro will launch alongside the larger K100 Pro Max.
