PhonePe Invest, the investing and trading platform operated by PhonePe, experienced remarkable user growth during October 2026, recording an 80 percent surge in baseline platform registrations alongside a 50 percent increase in new customer additions. This substantial expansion directly follows the strategic transition of the platform from its former identity, Share.Market, to PhonePe Invest. Alongside this major rebranding initiative, the company introduced an array of advanced features designed to deliver deep, actionable portfolio intelligence directly to retail investors. Central to these newly unveiled capabilities is the Portfolio Optimiser, an end-to-end intelligence solution built around three interconnected functional pillars: Build, Review, and Optimise. Developed to directly address primary investor requirements within a single seamless interface, the tool significantly simplifies the end-to-end investment journey. The Build function provides step-by-step guidance to assist beginners during initial portfolio construction, ensuring a structured approach to asset allocation. Simultaneously, the Review module delivers research-driven analytics that enable users to assess overall investment health across their holdings. Crucially, PhonePe Invest allows users to seamlessly import holdings from external demat accounts at zero cost, giving investors a consolidated, holistic view of asset allocation, sector exposure, under-rated assets, and potential concentration risks in one place. Completing this suite, the Optimise feature provides a streamlined, one-click mechanism that allows investors to swap under-performing stocks for higher-rated alternatives. Commenting on these developments, Vijay Ajmera, Head of Business at PhonePe Invest, noted that the enthusiastic response and strong initial traction validate the team’s core strategy to build a comprehensive investment ecosystem that extends far beyond transactional execution. Ajmera emphasized that the future of retail investing lies in empowering individuals to better evaluate, understand, and manage their capital, positioning tools like Portfolio Optimiser as essential drivers for democratizing intelligent wealth management.
