Samsung has lunched a new series of Mini LED televisions in India, with screen sizes ranging from 43 inches to 100 inches and pricing starting at ₹42,990. The launch coincides with the South Korean electronics company completing 30 years of operations in India.
The new television lineup features Mini LED backlighting technology, where the LEDs used are significantly smaller than those found in conventional LED televisions. According to Samsung, the smaller LEDs allow more precise control over local dimming zones, resulting in improved contrast, deeper blacks, and better picture quality, especially in darker scenes.
The televisions also incorporate Samsung’s “Pure Spectrum Color” technology, which the company says delivers improved colour accuracy and covers more than 90 percent of the wide colour gamut. Additional features such as Color Booster and Mini LED HDR are designed to enhance contrast and maintain colour consistency across different content formats.
For gaming and sports viewing, the TVs support a 144Hz refresh rate under Samsung’s Motion Xcelerator technology, aimed at reducing motion blur and improving smoothness during fast-moving scenes.
The lineup is powered by Samsung’s NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor, which uses AI-based neural network processing for real-time upscaling, contrast adjustment, and sound optimisation. An AI Sound Controller automatically adjusts audio output depending on the type of content being viewed.
