Samsung’s rumored Galaxy Z Fold Wide has surfaced in a new hands-on dummy video, giving tech enthusiasts an early glimpse at what could be the company’s next foldable smartphone design. The leaked footage, shared online ahead of Samsung’s expected product launch event, reveals a noticeably wider cover display and slimmer overall profile compared to previous Galaxy Z Fold models.

The dummy unit showcased in the video appears to feature thinner bezels, a redesigned hinge mechanism, and a more tablet-like inner screen aimed at improving multitasking and media consumption. The wider outer display could address one of the biggest complaints from users of earlier Fold devices, which often featured narrow front screens that felt less practical for daily use.

According to industry reports, Samsung may also introduce upgraded durability features, including stronger foldable glass and improved water and dust resistance. The Galaxy Z Fold Wide is expected to run on Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor and could include enhanced AI-powered productivity tools integrated into Samsung’s One UI software.

The leak has generated excitement among foldable smartphone fans, especially as competition intensifies in the premium foldable market with rivals such as Huawei, Xiaomi, and Google launching their own advanced devices. Analysts believe Samsung is aiming to maintain its leadership in the foldable segment by refining the user experience rather than making drastic design changes.

While the hands-on video only shows a dummy model and not a fully functional device, it offers one of the clearest previews yet of Samsung’s next-generation foldable smartphone ahead of its official unveiling later this year
