The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G is expected to feature a significant display upgrade aimed at enhancing user privacy. Samsung is reportedly planning to integrate its new “Flex Magic Pixel” OLED technology, which was first showcased at MWC and K-Display 2025, into the S26 Ultra. This AI-powered display can intelligently manipulate individual pixels to restrict viewing angles, making content visible only from the front while blurring it from side angles. The technology is designed to automatically detect sensitive apps, such as banking or UPI payment apps, and instantly adjust the screen to prevent shoulder surfing or prying eyes.

Unlike traditional privacy screen protectors, which often reduce brightness and impact display clarity, Flex Magic Pixel promises to maintain visual quality while still offering privacy protection. While this advanced display is currently expected for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, reports suggest that Samsung may also bring it to future foldable models. If confirmed, this innovation could give Samsung a major competitive edge, as few—if any—other Android or iOS flagships offer such built-in privacy features. The S26 series is anticipated to launch in January 2026.
