After the poor performance of Sikander at the box office, megastar Salman Khan announced his next project on Friday. Salman released the first look of Bollywood film Battle of Galwan, which increased the excitement among fans.
Salman disclosed the motion poster of Battle of Galwan on Instagram. In the poster, he is seen soaked in blood, with cuts on his face and hands, holding a wooden stick covered with thorns. The actor sports a moustache and a fierce expression, his eyes burning with intensity. The motion poster carries the line: “15,000 feet above sea level, India fought its most ferocious battle without firing a single bullet.”
Fans expressed their excitement for the actor’s upcoming project in the comments section of the post. “Aa Gaya Toofaan,” wrote a user. Another comment read, “Salman is back 😍.” A fan commented, “This will rock the box office, so excited!”
In The Battle of Galwan, Salman Khan plays Colonel B Santosh Babu, who was the officer who led the 16 Bihar Regiment during the Galwan Valley clash with Chinese troops in 2020.
Ahead of the first look reveal, Salman was spotted in Mumbai with a thick moustache, increasing the curiosity of fans about his next project. In fact, just a day before, he shared an intense photo of himself on social media, leading to speculations that he was teasing his upcoming film.
About the cash-in at Galwan Valley
On June 15 last year, there was a violent clash between the armies of India and China in the Galwan Valley in Ladakh. The clash, in which 20 Indian soldiers were killed, was one of the worst in 45 years, and led to a military standoff with China and at least 11 rounds of military talks for the disengagement process.
