Petlawad, Jhabua district, Madhya Pradesh, where the roof of an unauthorized under-construction cinema hall collapsed. This tragic event led to the death of two laborers, identified as Lala Somla (35) and Prakash Prajapat (42), while three others sustained injuries. The collapse happened around 1 PM in the Thandla Road area, approximately 50 kilometers from the district headquarters.
Authorities revealed that the cinema hall was being constructed illegally without proper civic permissions. The poor quality of construction is believed to be the primary cause of the collapse. Legal action is expected following a thorough investigation. Additionally, the families of the deceased and the injured will receive financial assistance from the government.
