PM Modi took to social media to wish everyone Eid Mubarak. He wrote, “Greetings on Eid al-Fitr. May this celebration foster a spirit of optimism, unity, and kindness in our society. May all of your activities bring you joy and prosperity. Eid Mubarak!” This Eid is one of the most important events in the Islamic calendar, commemorating the completion of the holy month of Ramzan.

The celebration represents a time of joy, generosity, and solidarity, with people gathering to share meals, give gifts, and pray for peace and harmony. Earlier in the day, President Droupadi Murmu expressed her deepest greetings on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, emphasizing that the celebration fosters the spirit of oneness while also encouraging compassion and generosity.
Several more famous leaders also sent their warmest wishes for the occasion. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh extended his greetings, adding, “Greetings on Eid-ul-Fitr. May this event bring happiness, peace, and prosperity to everyone. I hope this day reinforces the connections of harmony and brotherhood across society. Eid Mubarak!”
