Mumbai Airport officials caught 33.355 kg of suspected Hydroponic Weed, worth ₹33.35 crore, and arrested seven passengers and one receiver in a major crackdown.

Customs officers intercepted a Malaysian passenger at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, bringing 5.024 kg of suspected Hydroponic Weed, worth ₹5.024 crores, hidden in vacuum-sealed plastic packets.

Customs officers caught a passenger from Bangkok, seized 2.425 kg of suspected Hydroponic Weed (Marijuana), worth approximately ₹2.425 crores, under the NDPS Act, 1985.

One passenger was gulped under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985, after being found with narcotic substances concealed in vacuum-sealed plastic packets.
