Political leaders from across India have united in praise for the Indian Armed Forces following the successful execution of Operation Sindoor, a series of precision missile strikes targeting terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Politicians from various parties took to social media to express their support, posting patriotic slogans such as “Jai Hind” and “Bharat Mata ki Jai”. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh led the chorus, while Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde echoed similar sentiments.

Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, also voiced their backing for the operation, emphasizing national unity and the need for a firm stance against terrorism. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi welcomed the strikes, calling for the complete dismantling of Pakistan’s terror infrastructure.

The Indian Air Force carried out night raids on nine terror hideouts, including Bahawalpur, Muridke, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad, targeting facilities linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), and Hizbul Mujahideen (HM). Officials described the strikes as “focused, measured, and non-escalatory,” ensuring that Pakistani military assets were not directly engaged.

Pakistan confirmed the strikes, reporting civilian casualties and condemning the action as a “violation of sovereignty”. Despite the tensions, Islamabad has signaled readiness to de-escalate if India “steps back from aggression”.

Internationally, global powers including the U.S. and U.K. have urged restraint, closely monitoring the situation. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Prime Minister postponed his scheduled visit to Europe, citing national security concerns. With tensions at a critical juncture, both nations remain on high alert. Further developments are expected in the coming hours.
