Ajay Devgn was in his element in the new episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show. Known to be a man of few words, he was in a conversational mood on Kapil’s show. He took a dig at the comedian, the show’s permanent guest Navjot Singh Sidhu and actor-politician and his ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ co-star Ravi Kishan.
Netflix on Thursday released a teaser of its upcoming episode featuring actors Ajay Devgn, Vindu Dara Singh, Ravi Kishan and Mrunal Thakur. It also gave a glimpse of Kapil Sharma, Navjot Singh Sidhu and the characters of Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda. The teaser begins with Kapil Sharma reading out letters from Ajay Devgn’s fans.
He read: “Gangaram ji from Bhilai has written, ‘Ajay sir, your Golmaal series is a hit in terms of comedy. Your Dhamaal series is also a hit. You do comedy in your films. But why do you look so serious in comedy shows?'” To this, Ajay had a funny reply. Pointing at Kapil, he said, “Tell Gangaram ji, I take salary for my films. When I come here (Kapil’s show), it is you who earn money!”
The actor then moved towards Navjot Singh Sidhu and said, “Sidhu paaji has kept one handkerchief in cricket, one handkerchief in politics and here is the full sheet!” Hearing this, everyone laughed.
Kapil Sharma then moved towards his second guest Ravi Kishan. Talking about him, he said, “I have heard that Ravi bhai touches his wife’s feet before sleeping.” To this, Mrunal Thakur reacted and said, “Oh.” Before Ravi could answer Kapil, Ajay Devgn interrupted him and said, “The more guilty a man is, the more he touches his wife’s feet.” He further said, “No politician should be given a mike. You have put it in his mouth.”
Hearing Ajay Devgn’s words, Ravi Kishan jumped out of his seat and burst out laughing.
Ajay Devgn’s next target is Kapil. He jokingly comments on the comedian’s weight loss journey and says, “People lose weight. You have done so much that even your nose has lost weight.” To this, Kapil says, “Ajay sir is playing on the front foot today.”
The new episode will feature the cast of “Son of Sardaar 2”. It will stream on Netflix this Saturday at 8 pm.
