The Jammu & Kashmir BJP staged a protest against the Congress, claiming that the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) chargesheet against Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case is the “final nail in the coffin” for the opposition party. The chargesheet accuses the Gandhis of laundering ₹988 crore, sparking allegations of corruption.

The BJP criticized the Congress for labeling the ED’s actions as “vendetta politics” and organized a march in Jammu, where effigies of Sonia and Rahul Gandhi were burned. BJP leaders asserted that the chargesheet is based on substantial evidence and demanded accountability from the Congress leadership.

Meanwhile, the Congress has dismissed the charges as politically motivated, with protests erupting across the country. The party accused the BJP-led government of using central agencies to target opposition leaders and suppress dissent.

This development has intensified the political battle between the two parties, with both sides rallying their supporters.
