Meanwhile, MI, captained by Hardik Pandya, finished fourth in the league but displayed dominant form, defeating Gujarat Titans in the Eliminator with a commanding 228/5.
PBKS had previously defeated MI on May 26, securing a top-two finish, but with MI gaining momentum, the rematch promises to be intense. The pitch at Narendra Modi Stadium has been a batting paradise, with multiple 200-plus scores recorded this season. Given recent trends, the team winning the toss is likely to opt to bowl first.
PBKS will rely on their explosive openers Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya, while MI will look to Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, and Jasprit Bumrah to maintain their dominance.
