The first trailer for Ramayana, India’s largest movie, was released in a number of Indian locations. The film’s producer, Namit Malhotra, and director, Nitesh Tiwari, were present when the 3-minute first look was unveiled in a 3D IMAX in Mumbai. The two film’s makers gave a brief speech to the audience after the movie was shown to thunderous applause from both reporters and viewers. Prior to the initial glance, Namit and Nitesh delivered video messages expressing their regret for not being there in person.
“It is fate that our shoot ended one day early and we are here,” Nitesh joked. Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who plays Lord Ram, celebrated with the crew on Tuesday at the completion of Ramayana Part 1’s filming. When asked what he hoped his picture would accomplish at the premiere of the first glimpse, Nitesh Tiwari became a little teary-eyed. Since I love seeing films, I’ll respond as an audience member rather than a director. Emotions and pride in our nation’s rich cultural legacy are, in my opinion, the most significant factors,” he stated.
Like his director, producer Namit Malhotra described it as ‘a moment of incredulity’. The filmmaker added, “We are sharing this with the world, and it’s unbelievable. Together, we have worked on this dream for a very long time. In order to honour this epic, we poured our hearts and souls into it. My only hope is that we will proudly share our excellent history and culture with the world. I want all Indians to be proud as we stand there, not just to celebrate this for ourselves but also to be able to share it with the world at the highest level possible.”
