Cricketer Hardik Pandya and model-actress Mahieka Sharma have become the centre of social media speculation after recent photos suggested the couple may have secretly gotten engaged. The rumours began when Mahieka was spotted wearing a diamond ring during a puja ceremony held at Pandya’s residence, where she was seen alongside Hardik, his family, his son Agastya, and even their pet dog.
The images, shared by Pandya himself in a personal photo collection on Instagram, quickly went viral. Fans interpreted the ring on Mahieka’s finger as a sign of engagement, especially since the couple only made their relationship public in October 2025. Their romance has reportedly blossomed in recent weeks, with Pandya openly posting affectionate moments online.
However, the priest who conducted the ceremony, Pandit Chandrashekhar Ji, clarified that the ritual was not an engagement puja. He explained that it was a Mangalwar puja, performed for health, prosperity, and overall well-being, and not related to any marital commitment. In his own words, the ceremony was intended to invoke “ārogya, shānti, and the radiance of prosperity” through sacred fire offerings.
Despite this clarification, speculation continues to swirl online, with many fans convinced that the couple may have taken the next step in their relationship. The deletion of some photos from Pandya’s post has only added to the curiosity.
