
New Delhi, June 11: Crude oil prices rose by Rs 39 to Rs 5,604 per barrel in futures trade on Tuesday as participants raised the size of their deals following strong spot demand.
Crude oil prices for July delivery rose by Rs 39, or 0.7 percent, to Rs 5,604 per barrel on the Multi Commodity Exchange in a business turnover of 8,735 lots.
Analysts said crude oil prices rose in futures trade as participants raised their bets.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude was trading 0.23 percent higher at $65.44 per barrel, while Brent crude rose 0.28 percent to $67.23 per barrel in New York.
