On 21 July 2025, the Indian Coast Guard Station Hut Bay, under Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC), saved the life of a passenger who collapsed at Hut Bay Jetty, Little Andaman. The 41-year-old man, along with his old-age mother, suffered a seizure, head injury, and lacerated mouth. The ICG team mobilized resources and stabilized the patient, demonstrating ANC’s commitment to public safety and humanitarian assistance in remote island territories.
