Chitrangda Singh has officially joined Salman Khan in an upcoming war drama based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese forces. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the untitled film marks the first on-screen collaboration between the two actors.

Salman Khan is set to portray Colonel B. Santosh Babu, the commanding officer of the 16 Bihar Regiment who led Indian troops during the conflict. This will be Khan’s first full-length portrayal of a real-life figure, adding a new dimension to his career.

Inspired by the book India’s Most Fearless 3 by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh, the film promises a gritty, emotionally charged narrative. Chitrangda, known for her roles in Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi and Desi Boyz, is expected to play a pivotal role alongside Khan.

The project is scheduled to begin filming in July 2025 with a tight 70-day shooting schedule. Salman is currently undergoing military training and a physical transformation to prepare for the role.

This collaboration could mark a significant turning point for both stars—especially Chitrangda, whose recent performances have been well received. Want a deeper dive into the real-life events behind the film or a look at the rest of the cast? I’ve got you covered.
