World Blood Donor Day (2)

The Community Health Centre (CHC) Nancowry, in partnership with the A & N AIDS Control Society and the State Blood Transfusion Council, celebrated World Blood Donor Day with great fervor and community involvement as a heartfelt homage to the spirit of voluntary blood donation. The topic for this year, “Give Blood, Give Hope: Together We Save Lives,” attracted a large number of attendees, including members of the military forces, local citizens, and medical experts.

Dr. (Lt. Col.) Nirmal Bajpai, Officer-in-Charge of CHC Nancowry, led the occasion and emphasized how important a reliable and safe blood supply is to saving lives. He encouraged everyone who qualifies to regularly donate blood and take an active role in this life-saving effort. Villagers from all around the area, employees from different government agencies, and naval officers from INS Kardip came forward to offer their assistance. Numerous people signed up to donate blood voluntarily, reinforcing the community’s dedication to healthcare and harmony.

CHC Nancowry wanted to thank everyone who helped make the program a huge success and for their enthusiastic support. The public is urged to follow the A & N AIDS Control Society on its official social media accounts or call the toll-free AIDS Helpline at 1097 for additional information on HIV/AIDS-related services and blood donation.
