Bill Gates, co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, visited NITI Aayog’s Viksit Bharat Strategy Room (VBSR). While there, he saw an immersive, cutting-edge AI-enabled facility that aims to improve evidence-based decision making for policymakers nationwide. Using state-of-the-art technology, the center enables federal, state, district, and block officials to analyze data in real time and make well-informed policy decisions. The opening of the “Viksit Bharat Strategy Room” on March 7, 2024, marked a significant advancement in data-driven government.

The room offers a dynamic platform for exploring data across states, sectors, and government initiatives thanks to its 27 interactive screens and prominently situated touchscreens. Policymakers can effectively comprehend complex data with the aid of its AI-driven software, which was created utilizing machine learning and natural language processing. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the center on July 11, 2024, he emphasized the significance of this effort and reaffirmed its role in furthering India’s objective of Viksit Bharat.

The success of VBSR served as inspiration for the development of numerous AI-powered experience centers around India. Among these is “Tagbin BoardRoomAI,” a tool that uses predictive analytics and real-time data to transform boardroom decision-making. The VBSR signifies a paradigm shift in governance and is more than just a data center. We are enabling leaders to make better-informed, significant decisions for India’s development by fusing state-of-the-art AI with policymaking,” stated Saurav Bhaik, CEO of Tagbin and a major driving force behind the project.
