The Bharat Recycling Show (BRS) 2025, India’s largest recycling-focused trade exhibition and conference, is set to take place from November 13–15 at the Bombay Exhibition Center in Mumbai. Co-located with the second edition of the Plastics Recycling Show India (PRS), the event will serve as a dynamic platform for showcasing cutting-edge technologies and innovations driving India’s transition to a circular economy.

Organized by Media Fusion and Crain Communications, BRS 2025 will feature over 150 exhibitors and is expected to attract more than 8,000 visitors from across 10 countries. The exhibition will span multiple sectors including metals, e-waste, batteries, tyres, textiles, and plastics, offering a comprehensive view of sustainable recycling solutions.

In the lead-up to the event, a high-level panel discussion titled “Unlocking Circular Value: Regulatory and Market Trends in Recycling” was held in Mumbai. Industry leaders and policymakers emphasized the urgent need for stronger, India-specific regulatory frameworks, technological innovation, and formal integration of the country’s vast informal recycling network. Key speakers included Ajit Salvi, Director of RCUES at AIILSG, and Sandeep Vakharia, Honorary Secretary of the Bombay Non-Ferrous Metal Association (BNMA).

The show aims to foster cross-industry collaboration, policy dialogue, and investment in sustainable infrastructure. It will also spotlight India’s growing e-waste challenge, with experts calling for increased state intervention and improved recycling infrastructure to manage the estimated 1.4 million metric tons of e-waste generated in FY 2024–25.

BRS 2025 is positioned as a pivotal event in India’s sustainability calendar, bringing together global thought leaders, innovators, and stakeholders to accelerate the country’s circular economy ambitions.
