Pune, September 4, 2025 — Apple has officially opened its first retail store in Pune, marking a significant expansion of its physical presence in India. Located in the upscale Koregaon Park area within KOPA Mall, the new outlet—named Apple Koregaon Park—is the company’s fourth store in India, following successful launches in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru.

The store was inaugurated at 1 PM IST and drew large crowds of Apple enthusiasts, families, and students eager to experience the brand’s signature retail environment. Apple Koregaon Park is staffed by a diverse team of 68 employees from 11 Indian states, trained to offer multilingual support in languages including Marathi, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Kannada, and English.

Apple’s Senior Vice President of Retail, Deirdre O’Brien, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating, “In a city celebrated for its history and creativity, Apple Koregaon Park introduces an incredible new destination for customers to connect with all things Apple—whether they’re shopping for a new product, looking for support for one they already own and love, or seeking inspiration to bring their next big idea to life.”

The store features Apple’s complete product lineup, including the iPhone 16 series, iPad Air with Apple Pencil Pro, M4-powered MacBook Air, Apple Watch, AirPods, and accessories such as AirTags and phone cases. Customers can also access services like Apple Trade In, financing options, and a dedicated Apple Pickup zone for online order collections.

Apple Koregaon Park is designed with sustainability in mind, operating on 100% renewable energy and maintaining a carbon-neutral footprint. The store’s architecture includes a large glass façade, natural wood tables with smart sensor-powered retractable power sockets, and a unified Genius Bar and pickup counter.

In addition to retail services, the store will host daily “Today at Apple” sessions—free educational workshops led by Apple Creatives. These sessions will cover topics such as video editing, digital art using Apple Pencil, and tips for maximizing Apple Intelligence features.

The launch comes just days ahead of Apple’s anticipated iPhone 17 event, and the Pune store is expected to play a key role in showcasing the new lineup. Apple has also confirmed plans to open two more stores later this year in Mumbai and Delhi-NCR, bringing the total number of Apple Stores in India to six.

Apple Koregaon Park represents a strategic step in Apple’s commitment to deepening its engagement with Indian consumers, offering a premium retail experience tailored to the region’s cultural and technological aspirations.
