New Delhi: Aluminum prices fell by 45 paise to Rs 259.50 per kg in futures trade on Thursday as traders cut their positions amid a weak trend in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of aluminum for October delivery fell by 45 paise, or 0.17 percent, to Rs 259.50 per kg, with a turnover of 1,679 lots.
Analysts said the fall in aluminum prices was mainly due to traders cutting their positions due to weak demand from consumer industries.
