Half Fry Egg

Recent findings from the University of South Australia have validated that eggs, although often associated with elevated cholesterol levels, do not raise bad cholesterol when included in a low-saturated fat diet. The research indicates that the primary issue for heart health is the saturated fat present in our diets, rather than the dietary cholesterol found in eggs. It suggests that eggs, which are high in cholesterol yet low in saturated fat, may actually help decrease LDL levels and reduce the risk of heart disease. Furthermore, the study indicates that an additional serving of bacon or sausage in cooked breakfasts is more likely to affect heart health.
